Started
I’m ready. How do we get started?
For straightforward projects, we can usually create a quote within one business day. We’ll need your audio or video files to be transcribed and your complete billing information.
Projects with greater demands usually require a discovery call, followed by a short exploration phase. During this process, we work with you to define the project scope and services you need. Afterward, we can get you a cost estimate, prepare a contract, and schedule kickoff calls with our teams. Once the paperwork is complete, we get to work!
How much do you charge?
Our pricing structures are designed to be industry-competitive, transparent, and fair.
For projects or one-time transcription, rates range from $2.49 to $3.49 per minute, depending on the number of speakers and level of quality assurance requested. Volume discounts may apply.
For certified legal transcription, rates begin at $30 per man-hour.
If you need ongoing service or have a medical account, we offer our clients several dynamic billing options to fit their budgets. This includes fixed project fees, hourly rates, and monthly retainers for both transcription and administrative services.

When you submit a transcription order, we want to allocate the best resources to complete your project. This includes assigning staff that has the relevant industry experience and high accuracy rates.
Sometimes, we rely on an initial needs assessment to staff your account. While we typically source staff in-house, it is not uncommon for Beverly Hills Transcription to recruit additional top performers, if necessary, to achieve a particular composite skill set.
A typical client team will include a Client Service Manager (CSM), 1-3 (or more) Transcriptionists, and a Quality Assurance Lead.

Can you translate my audio?

All of our orders get completed through a secure VPN with end-to-end encryption (utilizing AES-256, bank-level technology) by 100% US-based transcriptionists. Your data is never sent abroad for processing, unlike our competitors.
Additionally, our staff goes through extensive confidentiality training, pre-hire background checks and have signed NDAs on file.
We also rigorously test our security protocols by conducting regular internal audits and a yearly external 3rd-party audit. To date, we have never had a data breach and intend to keep it that way.
